Bobby Bland, That did it/A touch of the blues


Robert Calvin “Bobby” Bland, one of the top soul and blues singers, was born on January 27, 1930 and died on June 23, 2013. He first recorded in 1951 (for Chess), then was called up for military service. On his return he signed with Don Robey’s Duke Records and had a long string of beautifully produced hit singles.
