“Let’s go baby” by Robert Parker was released on Sue LP ILP 938 The Sue Story Volume 3, on disco single WIP 6599 and on (Island label) LP ILP 942. The record was made in 1966.

As the B side of “Barefootin'” the record made US R&B No.2 and US Pop No. 7, and UK Pop No. 24 in August 1966.

Lydia Beth Marcelle was born in California on October 15, 1948 and died in Los Angeles on September 8, 2015. As well as singing she had a career in sales. Lydia Marcelle had some other releases, produced by the same producer, licenced to Atco Records and other labels.

Raymond Parker, Ring around the roses/She’s coming home

Raymond Parker’s “Ring around the roses” was licenced from Nola Records USA and was scheduled as Sue WI 4024 in October 1966. Nola Records was also the source of Robert Parker’s “Barefootin'” and Raymond may be related.

WI 4024 was not issued, although white label pressings were produced.
