Soul singer Delectus (or Delecta) “Dee” Clark was born on November 7, 1938 and died on December 7, 1990 of a heart attack, after living in poverty. He is mainly known for his biggest success, “Raindrops”. He was originally influenced by Clyde McPhatter and Little Richard and he often deputised for the latter. He never really recovered from a stroke he experienced in 1987. “Hey little girl” was released in the UK on Sue ILP 933 The Sue Story Volume 2.
